Download the app from the App Store, create a free account, and choose your role. Guests can immediately browse nearby hotspots and purchase access. Hosts need to set up a GL.iNet router ($39.99) and create a listing — setup takes about 10 minutes.

Purchase a compatible GL.iNet router, plug it into your existing internet connection, and set it up through the app. Once live, set your price and availability. Guests in your area will be able to find and connect to your hotspot. Earnings are paid out automatically on a rolling basis.

is designed to work with GL.iNet travel routers. We recommend the GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX) or GL-AXT1800 (Slate AX) for best performance. The entry-level GL-MT300N-V2 starts at $39.99 and is a great option to begin hosting. You can purchase directly from gl-inet.com.

Open the app and allow location access. The map will show you nearby available hotspots. Tap one to see pricing and connection details, choose a session length, and pay. You'll receive a QR code or connection credentials to get online — no technical knowledge needed.

accepts Apple Pay, major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you were unable to connect due to a documented issue with the Host's connection, contact us at support@palphi.com within 24 hours of the session and we'll review your case. We do not issue refunds for unused time within a purchased session.

Host earnings are paid out on a rolling weekly basis. You'll need to add a payout method (bank account via Stripe Connect) in the app under Settings → Payouts. Minimum payout threshold is $10. You can view your earnings history and payout schedule in the app dashboard.

In most cases, yes — but you should review your ISP's terms of service. Some ISPs prohibit reselling bandwidth. As a Host, you are responsible for ensuring your sharing activity complies with your internet service agreement. does not take responsibility for ISP policy violations.

isolates Guest traffic so that Guests cannot access the Host's local network or other devices. However, for sensitive activities, we recommend using a VPN regardless of the network you're on. does not log or monitor the content of your internet traffic.

You can request account deletion by emailing support@palphi.com with "Delete My Account" in the subject line, or through Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. We will process deletion within 30 days. Note that any pending Host earnings will be paid out before closure.

Speeds depend on the Host's internet plan and how many Guests are connected. Each listing displays the Host's stated speed tier. For best results, choose hosts with higher rated speeds and fewer active guests. If you experience consistently poor speeds, you can report the listing from within the app.
